Backyard access and Entertainment Addition

Objective: To create an inviting entry way and small back yard entertainment space with access from the front to the back yard.
Challenge: Limited space between property line and steep slope along side of home.
Resolution: This was a tight property line along the only side of the townhome that would allow for any landscaping. We worked with the neighboring property to assist in their drainage issues while creating the staircase for our client. Due to the limited space between property lines, we used timber to create access from their front entry to the back patio. Along the stairs access we addressed all drainage needs for the client and their neighbor with granite boulders and cobble swales.
