Zephyr Mountain Landscape

Landscape installation for Zephyr Mountain in Winter Park ski resort.
This project included working with two HOA's and several teams within the Winter Park resort.
Biggest concerns for the new landscape was to improve areas of large snow load and drainage. Also create clean, low maintenance interesting planting areas. Other concerns included limited areas for irrigation or access.
The design addressed the snow load areas with native stone cobble drainage and boulders. In front of those large cobble areas are sections of raised perennials beds.
We worked with their maintenance crews to establish a weekly and monthly watering plan per month or needs and there is an on-going communication between our teams to help maintain the health and growth of the new landscape.
