Landscape after Forest Fire
This home is located near the Rocky Mountain National park in Grand county. Their house survived a large fire that engulfed over 3000 acres of land, several homes and businesses. While the house survived, all of the landscape and irrigation did not.
One feature the clients wanted to keep was the entry way lava rock wall. We added rip rap stone for a local quarry to create pocket planting beds to introduce colorful perennials.
